How long can I wait between the seal coat, Deep Pour layers, and top coat?

Each stage has its own re-coat window. Pour inside the window and the layers bond without prep. Miss it, and the cured coat must be sanded and cleaned before the next one.

1. Brush a seal coat of UltraClear Bar & Table Top Epoxy on the wood that will touch the Deep Pour, then pour the Deep Pour 4-6 hours later. 2. Pour UltraClear Deep Pour Epoxy in layers at least 1/4" thick (1" layers are recommended) every 12-24 hours. Past that window, wait 3 days for the layer to cure hard, sand-scuff it with 220-320 grit, clean it with denatured alcohol or acetone, then pour the next layer. Do the same on purpose if you want a clean line between a colored layer and a clear one; poured inside the window they can blend, so test first. 3. After the final Deep Pour layer, wait at least 3 days, then sand and clean it the same way. 4. Seal coat the remaining exposed wood. Only the wood needs it; brushing over the sanded river will not hurt anything, and the seal coat does not need to be tinted to match a colored Deep Pour. 5. Pour the Bar & Table Top flood coat within 4-6 hours of that seal coat. If more than 10 hours pass, sand and clean the entire seal coat first.

A long gap between stages is workable as long as the cured coat gets the sand-and-clean prep; properly prepared, the new coat bonds fully.
