Is the email asking me to verify my order legitimate?

Yes. If you received an email from us asking you to verify your order, it is genuine, and your order is on hold until we hear back from you.

Our system automatically flags certain orders for verification, such as a first-time purchase where the billing address and the shipping address are different. The check confirms that the cardholder is the person making the purchase. It is there to counteract fraudulent charges, and it protects you as a cardholder as much as it protects us.

To clear the hold, reply to the verification email with one of the options it lists, such as a copy of your driver's license. Once what you send matches the information already on your order, we ship it out right away. You will receive a tracking number with a delivery date estimate as soon as the order has been dispatched.

Shipping to a different address is fine. If you use a freight forwarder or consolidator, just tell us; once your purchase is verified it ships as normal.

This is a one-time process. Once you have verified a purchase, it will not be required on any of your future orders.
