I already placed an order - can you refund the sales tax I was charged?

Yes. If you placed an order before your exemption was on file, send us your tax exemption certificate along with the order number. We'll refund the sales tax charged on that order and update your account so you aren't charged sales tax on future orders. You'll receive a separate email confirmation when the refund is issued.

This works the same way for nonprofits, schools, government agencies and businesses, and if you have more than one recent order, include all the order numbers and we'll refund the tax on each of them.

If your order hasn't been paid yet, such as a custom invoice we emailed you, we can remove the tax from the invoice once your documentation has been added and send you an updated invoice to review before you pay.
