How do I set up a tax-exempt account before placing an order?

Send us a copy of your tax exemption certificate and we'll add it to your account so you can place tax-free orders on the website. Email it to CustomerCare@BestBarTopEpoxy.com, or reply to our email with the certificate attached. Your tax-exempt status is tied to the email address on your account, so let us know if you order under a different email (for example, a departmental address) than the one you write from.

We need the exemption certificate itself. An EIN, tax ID or vendor number on its own isn't enough to set up the exemption.

There's no waiting period. The exemption normally takes effect on your account immediately, so you can place your order as soon as we confirm it has been added. If the system is slow to update, send us the products and quantities you want plus your shipping address and we'll create a custom order invoice with the tax removed, or call 800-259-1619 and we'll take the order over the phone.

The process is the same for schools, universities, libraries, government agencies, nonprofits and businesses. We do not accept purchase orders, but once your account is tax exempt you can pay online or by phone without sales tax.
