Can I pour Bar & Table Top Epoxy 1/4 inch thick in one coat?

No. UltraClear Bar & Table Top Epoxy self-levels to 1/8" thick, and that is the maximum for a single pour. It cannot be thinned or poured thicker: pour it out and every flood coat settles at 1/8" on its own, so there is nothing to measure. Pouring thicker than that makes air bubbles and incomplete curing much more likely.

To reach 1/4", pour two 1/8" flood coats 4 to 6 hours apart; within that window the layers bond as one with no prep. If you wait more than 10 hours, lightly scuff the first coat with 220-320 grit sandpaper and wipe it down with denatured alcohol or acetone before the next pour. The 1/4" option on our coverage calculator is sized the same way: two 1/8" flood coats, not one 1/4" pour. Repeating 1/8" layers every 4 to 6 hours can build the product up to 1.5" total.

UltraClear Deep Pour Epoxy handles 1/4" and deeper, but on wood you still need Bar & Table Top Epoxy for the seal coat and final flood coat, so for a depth like 3/8" it is usually simpler to stack Bar & Table Top coats.
