Are Pigmently liquid dyes alcohol-based, and will they evaporate in the bottle?

Pigmently Liquid Dyes are alcohol-based inks. They should work fine with any resin system, and you can use them to add color or tint to virtually any medium, including making your own alcohol inks. As always, test on a small scale first to make sure they are compatible with your project.

Evaporation is not something we have experienced or heard about from customers in the many years we have offered these colors.

If a new, sealed bottle looks less than full, that is normal. Some colors have a different viscosity and take up less space in the bottle than others, so the fill line varies from color to color. Each bottle still holds the full 10 ml of color. Shake the bottle well before use to get all of it out.

When you use them, the liquid dye is simply added to the epoxy mixture and blends in the same way the powders do.
