Do you have a thin epoxy to fill small voids or rotted wood?

UltraClear Deep Pour Epoxy is the thinnest epoxy we make, and it is the product for filling cracks and voids. We do not offer a more fluid formula for syringe work, and none of our epoxies should be thinned with solvent.

For rotted wood, petrified wood, or any crack or void over 1/4" deep, fill the voids with Deep Pour Epoxy first. It is only for pours at least 1/4" thick, applied in layers up to 1" every 12 to 24 hours. Once the voids are filled, seal coat and top coat the whole surface with UltraClear Bar & Table Top Epoxy to add the hard, protective wear layer.

For shallow low spots, such as dimples between pennies on a penny floor or counter, the best option for a seamless finish is to re-pour the entire surface with another flood coat of Bar & Table Top Epoxy. If you only want to spot-fix, you can brush epoxy over the low areas and use a heat gun to smooth out the brush strokes. It may take several brush coats spaced 4 to 6 hours apart, and there is no guarantee the result will be seamless.

Re-coats within 4 to 6 hours need no surface prep. Once the previous coat has hardened (about 10 to 12 hours), lightly scuff it with 220 or 320 grit sandpaper, wipe it with denatured alcohol or acetone on a lint-free rag (never mineral spirits), and pour. The new layer fills the scratches and cures clear.
