What should I include?

• A photo of the whole project and close-ups of any areas you’re unsure about.
• The surface material and any existing paint, stain, sealer, or coating.
• The project’s dimensions and the depth of epoxy you plan to pour.
• Any rivers, cracks, holes, embedded objects, or edges that need covering.
• Whether it will be used indoors or outdoors and how it will be used.

Measure the epoxy layer, not just the wood: a 1½-inch-thick wood sign needing a clear surface coat is different from a 1½-inch-deep resin casting.
