Which UltraClear epoxy should I use for outdoor signs, memorials, or artwork?

It depends on what matters most for the piece.

UltraClear Art & Craft Epoxy is the best choice whenever yellowing or fading would be noticeable: white or light backgrounds, light-colored painted signs, colored resin, murals, a photo on a memorial stone, or HDU street signs. It has the highest UV resistance of any of our products and keeps its clarity even over white. UltraClear Bar & Table Top Epoxy is the hardest, most durable option and works for sealing concrete, such as a grave marker or engraved bricks. It self-levels to 1/8" per coat, which also makes it the right product for shallow color fills in cut-out sign letters. UltraClear Deep Pour Epoxy is only for fills at least 1/4" deep. If you use it to fill a void or deeper section, top coat it with Bar & Table Top Epoxy for a protective layer.

For color, use Pigmently mica powders or liquid dyes rather than paint. Sample sizes are available, and you should test on a small scale first. Whichever epoxy you choose, finish with a spray-on UV polyurethane after it cures for maximum sun protection.
