Which UltraClear epoxy should I use for casting in a silicone mold?

Any of our epoxies will cast in a silicone or latex mold. Which one to use depends on how deep the mold is, so measure the depth first; that is all we need to recommend the right product.

1/8" deep: UltraClear Bar & Table Top Epoxy. It self-levels to 1/8" thick and is our strongest, most durable and scratch-resistant epoxy.

1/8" to 1/4" deep: UltraClear Art & Craft Epoxy. It pours in 1/8" or 1/4" layers, has a 30 to 40 minute working time, and offers superior UV resistance and clarity over white backgrounds.

1/4" or deeper: UltraClear Deep Pour Epoxy. It is the product for thick castings such as 1/2" magnets, 1"-deep display blocks, or a 4" to 5" flower mold. It pours 1" deep at a time and builds up in 1" layers every 12 to 24 hours, up to 6" total. For decorative castings it can stand alone without a top coat.

A few related answers: all of our epoxy is 100% VOC free. Pigmently mica powders and liquid dyes work in all three products; order a sample pack to test your color first. A vacuum chamber isn't needed; a heat gun or propane torch pops the bubbles mixed in during stirring.
