Can I Add Color to UltraClear Epoxy, and Which Pigments Should I Use?
Yes. All three UltraClear epoxies (Bar & Table Top, Deep Pour, and Art & Craft) can be tinted, and you can get nearly any color or design you want, from a solid-color countertop to a marble-style finish with veins.
Our pigments
We sell our own colorants, Pigmently Mica Powder Pigments and Pigmently Liquid Dyes. They are stable in water and solvent-based systems, work perfectly with our epoxy, and are designed to mix directly into it. Powder pigments give opaque, shimmery, metallic, pearlescent or marbled effects; liquid dyes give a transparent, stained-glass style tint.
Everyone sees color a little differently, so order a sample pack and test the color on a small scale before you commit to a full project.

Deep Pour projects
If you're doing a tinted Deep Pour for a river table or crack fill, you don't need to color the seal coat underneath it. And if you'd like help working out how much epoxy or how much color to order, contact us and we'll figure it out with you.
