The epoxy didn't cover my edges or sides - how do I fix it?

Bare or thin edges mean not enough epoxy was poured to account for the 30% that runs off over the sides. It's a quantity issue, not a product issue, so use the coverage calculator (https://www.bestbartopepoxy.com/pages/epoxy-calculator) before the next pour.

To fix it, mix a small batch of UltraClear Bar & Table Top Epoxy and brush it onto the sides and edges the same way you apply a seal coat, then use a heat gun to smooth out any brush strokes. If the epoxy there has already cured, lightly scuff it with 220 to 320 grit sandpaper and wipe it with denatured alcohol or acetone first. You don't need a full gallon for this; our smallest kit, the 1 Quart Combined kit (a pint of resin and a pint of hardener), should be enough to finish the edges.

If the top also has unfilled spots, or a leaking dam left some sides coated and some not, the other option is to scuff and clean the whole top and re-pour a full flood coat without a dam, letting the epoxy flow over the sides to coat the edges. A flood coat can't be brushed on thinner; it has to self-level to 1/8".
