Does UltraClear epoxy stick to plastic, PVC, or plexiglass?

No. UltraClear Bar & Table Top Epoxy does not adhere to plastic, PVC, or plexiglass, so none of them can be used as a substrate. That includes molded plastic or composite table tops, PVC sinks, and acrylic panels. If your table is plastic, the epoxy cannot be used over it.

The one exception is a small plastic or plexiglass area inside a larger wood surface, such as a plexiglass window set into a wood table top. If the majority of the surrounding surface is wood, there should be enough area for the epoxy to adhere. For a countertop with a PVC sink, apply the epoxy to the flat, level countertop only, not the sink.

The epoxy is also not suited to engineered plastic parts that need a water-resistant coating, such as an ABS 3D-printed bowl that will see daily water and shampoo. It is designed for surfaces like bars, tables, and countertops.
