Can I pour epoxy outdoors when temperatures drop at night?

Only if you can keep the area around the surface at or above 75°F for the full 72-hour cure, day and night. UltraClear Bar & Table Top Epoxy needs a minimum of 75°F for all 72 hours. If the temperature drops below that at any point, for example 80s during the day and 60s at night, the epoxy will not cure as intended: a room below 75°F traps the heat of the curing epoxy and leaves a completely cloudy surface. Pouring during the warm part of the day and hoping it sets before the overnight drop does not work; the requirement covers all three days. The same applies under a covered patio, a dock bar or an open-sided porch.

If you can't move the project indoors into a controlled environment, do what many of our customers in various climates do: 1. Build a tent around the surface with painter's plastic sheets. 2. Place space heaters inside the tent and keep it at a minimum of 75°F for the full 72 hours. 3. Set the heater a few degrees warmer than 75°F, since thermostats are not always accurate.

There is no upper temperature limit that will cause the product to fail, but a hotter environment speeds up curing and shortens your working time and pot life, so on a very hot day you'll have less time to work.
